About

are the most important component

Most performance tools are made for engineers, to make the vehicle better. We build for the person riding or driving it, too.

GPMech is an independent motorsport engineering company: founder-led, and working with a network of engineers, riders and drivers. We know from our own time on track that a better setup only goes so far. The fastest upgrade is usually you: where you brake, how you use the throttle, the lines you take, and how consistently you do it.

So we build tools that show what you did as clearly as what the vehicle did, and connect the two. On your first track day you can see where the time goes; a professional team can dig into the detail together, racer and engineer looking at the same data.

We still care a great deal about the machine. Vehicle dynamics is our background, and our software and electronics help you understand and improve it. We just don't stop there.

From first track day to podium

  • Learning: see your laps, your lines and where you're losing time, without needing to be an engineer.
  • Club racing: track your progress session to session, and test setup changes properly.
  • Professional: the depth engineers expect, with the racer part of the conversation.

Our approach

Rigorous analysis, plenty of time at the track, and tools that give clear answers in the time between sessions.

What we know

Racer performance

Lines, braking, throttle and consistency: reading what you did, and turning it into something to try on the next lap.

Vehicle dynamics

Kinematics, suspension, tires, aerodynamics and chassis response, across formula cars, production racers and karts.

Motorcycle dynamics

Lean, trail, wheelbase, weight transfer and rider input: the parts of two-wheeled performance that four-wheeled tools miss.

Software

Tools like GP Data that turn complex data into clear answers, for a first track day or a professional program.

Hardware

Electronics designed for accuracy and durability, and to work with our software from the start.

Racing

We race, from grassroots to professional levels. That trackside experience shapes everything we make.
